After Necross/Thrunk arrived in Iest declaring himself to be the Living Tarim and ousting Cerebus from his role as "Most Holy", Archie stood at the golem's feet and repeated everything "Most Holy" said - as if he was passing Tarim's commands to the masses. Once "Tarim" declared ""Anyone pretending to speak for Tarim will be squashed into a greasy wee spot on the pavement...", Archie immediately changed his tactics.[1]

Archie is based on Archie Goodwin of Marvel Comics as a nod to the period when Archie was second in command at Marvel to the much taller Jim Shooter.
