Cerebus' sword, helmet and medallions
Cerebus' sword was a magical items, forged by a Pigt shaman-king from a hard, gray metal.[1]
History[]
According to Dave, the shaman-king creator of the helmet (and also a helmet and a set of medallions) gathered his people together and stated that those items would be his, plunged the sword into his chest and spilled his blood all over the items, killing himself in the process. This gave the objects special powers.
Cerebus obtained these items in his travels, although he eventually traded the helmet for a vest, black paint and a paintbrush. Had Cerebus been in possession of all three objects when he later met the Pigts and found their aardvark sculpture,[2] the objects would have turned into gold and Cerebus would have had the ability to command the sculpture and conquer the land.[3]
Cerebus lost his sword in Lower Felda while attempting to acquire the gold hoard of the Cockroah.[4] Jaka Tavers returned it to him years later when she visited him in the Regency Hotel in Iest.[5]
