Cerebus' vest was a black vest that Cerebus acquired along with black paint and a paintbrush in exchange for his helmet before traveling to Serrea.[1]

Cerebus first wore the vest while travelling on the Sofim River to Serrea. He had sewn into it his remaining gold acquired from Henrot.[2]
