Cerebus Jam No. 1 is a comic book published by Aardvark-Vanaheim. It features four stories of Cerebus from throughout his life. The stories were done in collaboration with several creators (noted below) and the cover is by Bill Sienkiewicz.

A blacksmith invents "iron clothing" that he is sure will revolutionize warfare.

A young Cerebus travels north in search of his idol.

"Cerebus Versus The Spirit"[]

When Cerebus is arrested, he finds himself facing a fighter as tough as he is.

  • Cerebus Jam marks the first and only appearances of many of the guest characters. Only Squinteye and Pluto would be seen again, and then only in voice-over.

  • Cerebus Jam was conceived as an ongoing series, but only one issue was ever published.
  • "Cerebus Versus The Spirit" was reprinted in Spirit Jam from Kitchen Sink Press in 1981 and Will Eisner's The Spirit Archives Volume 26 from DC Comics in 2009.
