She wrote the book My Mother, My Husband, My Pain. When Red Sophia and her mother were at odds over her marriage to Cerebus, Dr. Ironcat was one of the women who discussed Sophia's choice of a husband with them.[1]
Basis[]
Dr. Ironcat is a parody of Catherine "Cat" Yronwode. Dave Sim created different logos for Yronwode's column in the Comic Buyer's Guide, "Fit to Print". Cerebus appears in one of the logos.
