Mary Ernestway was the wife of author Ham Ernestway.

History

Cerebus, who was a big fan of Ham, and Jaka joined Ham and Mary on the trail as they headed north. At one point, Mary tells Cerebus and Jaka the tale of how she once shot a lion on safari. She later leaves a gun case open and Ham takes a gun from it, using it to commit suicide.
