McBee's Owner was a Five-Bar Gate sponsor, in addition to owning the tavern McBee's. He took on Cerebus after seeing how he was able to defeat all local players. He brought Cerebus to his first championship in Moosehat, but made him ride on top of the carriage for the trip home after being soundly defeated by champion Paul "Coffee" Annan. As Cerebus continued to lose to Annan year after year, the owner treated Cerebus worse and worse, eventually shipping him to Moosehat as luggage. He paid Cerebus a large amount of money to leave McBee's for good.[1]
