Mrs. Annan was the wife of Paul "Coffee" Annan and the mother of his son.

During the period of time that Cerebus was a professional Five-Bar Gate player, he would always see a "beautiful young girl" in "The Pen", an area for players to wait for the results of a match. He eventually learned that she was the wife of long-time champion Paul "Coffee" Annan. She bore Annan a son, Paul Junior, who accompanied her to the championship matches for many years, but eventually left.[1]
