The original Cirin having tea with Cerebus from Cerebus No. 164

Cirin is the founder of the Cirinist movement and the original holder of the name. She was overthrown by her assistant, Serna, who took her name and imprisoned her with her watcher/stenographer Vera.

History[]

During Cerebus' second Ascension he fell through the roof of her living quarters and they had a talk over tea (for her) and whiskey (for Cerebus). She did all of the talking, telling Cerebus about women's true nature of being mind readers, and how men and women are opposites and deserve each other.

Her talk so upset Vera that she threw her transcript in disgust and stormed out to get the guards. The original Cirin then ushered Cerebus out through the basement to the Horseshoe Tavern where he'd be safe. She gave him money for the night and promised that an account would be set up so he could stay there indefinitely.
