"The Aardvarkian Age" is a recurring column by Michael Loubert that outlines the backstory to much of Estarcion. It was published intermittently in Cerebus from Cerebus No. 16 through Cerebus No. 20. Loubert drew the original map of Estarcion and named many of the locations. Dave Sim considered the history Loubert wrote in "The Aardvarkian Age" to be canonical and it would be referenced throughout the series.
